Burlingame Girls Softball (BGS), is a non-profit youth softball organization, founded in 1995, previously called Burlingame Bobby Sox.  BGS is dedicated to providing young athletes the opportunity to play and improve their softball skills.  We strive to teach sportsmanship on and off the field; cultivate a love for and knowledge of the game; and demonstrate what can be accomplished through hard work and hustle.  

 

Our teams and board are coached and run by parent and community volunteers.  Our philosophy is of a balanced approach in providing recreational, developmental and competitive opportunity for play.  While our recreation season is primarily in the Spring, we provide more opportunity for competitive play in the Summer and Fall seasons.  We pride ourselves on positive coaching and organizational leadership that models respectful, inclusive and fair play, as well as pride in the Burlingame community.  Players aged 5-18 are encouraged to sign up and participate.  We look forward to seeing your skills on the diamond!
